Refund & Cancellation

What happens when you cancel, and when we issue refunds. Last updated 19 May 2026.

The short version

  • Free trial:14 days, no card, no charge. It just ends if you don’t subscribe.
  • Subscription:₹499/month or ₹4,999/year, billed in advance. Cancel any time. Access continues until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
  • Refunds: generally no refunds for partial months. Exceptions for technical issues we caused, accidental double-billing, or service outages on our end — handled case by case.

1. The 14-day free trial

Every new account starts with 14 days of full access at no cost. We don’t ask for card or UPI details up front. The trial doesn’t auto-charge — if you don’t subscribe before it ends, the dashboard becomes paywalled but your menu, orders, and data are preserved indefinitely. Subscribe any time to restore access.

2. Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel in two ways:

  1. In the dashboard: go to Billing → Cancel subscription. The cancellation is scheduled immediately and takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  2. By email: write to hello@yanaserve.infrom the email on your account. We’ll confirm within one business day.

After cancellation: your menu stays live, orders keep flowing, and you keep dashboard access until the end of the month you’ve already paid for. At that point the subscription stops renewing and the dashboard becomes paywalled. Your data isn’t deleted — re-subscribe any time to restore access.

3. Our refund policy

Default: no refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-month, you keep access until the period ends — we don’t refund the remaining days.

We do issue refunds in these situations:

  • Accidental double-charge. If Razorpay charges you twice in the same billing period, we refund the extra charge within 5–7 business days.
  • Service outage caused by us. If the platform is unavailable due to our fault for more than 24 continuous hours in a billing period, you can request a pro-rated refund for those days.
  • Billing error.If you’re charged after cancellation, or charged a wrong amount, we refund the full difference.
  • We terminate without cause. If we shut down your account without you violating the Terms of Service, we refund the remaining unused portion of your current billing period.

Refunds are processed by Razorpay back to the original payment method. Timelines: UPI and netbanking usually 3–5 business days; cards 7–10 business days.

4. What we don’t refund

  • Partial months when you cancel voluntarily.
  • Charges from previous billing periods you didn’t flag within the dispute window (see below).
  • Outages caused by third parties (your internet, your customers’ phones, Razorpay downtime, Supabase downtime) that are outside our control.
  • Loss of business from operational issues — a missed order, a wrong total, a sound alert that didn’t play. These are operational risks of running a restaurant; the platform is a tool, not a guarantee.

5. Billing dispute window

Have an issue with a charge? Tell us within 7 days of the charge date by emailing hello@yanaserve.inwith your account email, the date of the charge, and what you’re disputing. We’ll investigate and respond within 5 business days.

6. Trial → paid transition

When your trial ends and you subscribe for the first time, you’re charged on the spot — ₹499 (plus GST) for the first month, or ₹4,999 if you choose annual billing. There’s no carryover or prorating from the trial — the trial was free, the paid subscription is its own clock.

7. Reactivating a cancelled subscription

Subscribed before, cancelled, want back in? Sign in to your dashboard and click Subscribe on the Billing page. A new subscription begins from the day of the new charge. Your menu, orders, and historical data all come right back.
